We are so excited to meet all of our new students and parents and see all of our returning students and parents again it’s going to be a great year!!!
Pre Camp is July 27 through 30th & the schedule is listed below from Mr. Simon’s calendar. Please make every attempt to have your student at pre camp! Students will be measured for their uniforms at this time, if for some reason your student is not able to make pre camp, please respond to this email with your students T-Shirt Size & Shorts Size as we have to order them on the 30th. Options are small, medium, large, XL, XXL & XXXL (XXL & XXXL sizes require an additional $6 fee due to cost from the vendor) Students will receive two T-Shirts and one pair of shorts for the informal uniform.
Monday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28
Flutes: 8-9 am. Clarinets and Bass Clarinets: 9-10 am. Saxophones: 10-11 am. Trumpets and Mellophones: 12-1:30 pm. Trombones, Baritones, Tubas: 1:30-3:00 pm. Percussion and Color Guard: 4-7 pm
Wednesday, July 29 and Thursday, July 30 Brass: 8-11 am. Woodwinds: 12-3 pm. Percussion and Color Guard: 4-7 pm.
Other Important Dates coming up!
8/3/15 Parent Night! 6:00 meeting followed by a 7:00 concert & a frozen treat! Please make sure to attend this meeting as we will be going over band camp details & we will be going over important information and forms that need to be filled out for the season! This will be the time to get informed, find out what to expect for the season & meet Mr. Simon as well as some of the other parents you will be getting to know this year 🙂
8/6/15 Band at Freshman orientation call time TBA
8/10/15 First day of School! Band practice 6 pm to 9 pm
8/13/15 – 8/16/14 BAND CAMP! Students will be leaving immediately after school on the 13th details to be communicated at Parent Night.
A reminder – Band Camp Fees and the summer uniform fees are due no later than the last day of Pre Camp July30th! It is very important that these fees be paid on time as we can not order summer uniforms until the funds are in to do so and we have to pay the camp so please make sure you have them paid on time.
