CHARMS Instructions

Boosters accounting is through Charms, an online software designed for high school band programs.

Log into Charms to check your student’s Booster account balance and make payments to Boosters using your credit/debit cards or through your PayPal account – a PayPal account is not required to pay with credit/debit card.

Note that CHARMS is for payments to Band Boosters ONLY and are not eligible for tax credit. Bookstore fees must be paid to the bookstore.

Need: your student’s SMHS i.d. number to log in (same number he/she had at Shea).

Your student should know his/her number, or you can log into Infinite Campus where it is displayed near the student’s photo.

Note that credit card payments do have a 4% fee applied to them to cover what PayPal charges Band Boosters for their service.

To log into Charms, go to www.charmsoffice.com – or use the link for “Sign in to CHARMS” under Links on the right side of the Blog’s home page.

From the home page on Charms, click on “ENTER” on the menu bar at the top.

Choose “Parents/Students/Members”

Our school code is: SMHSSMSBand

“Student Area Password” is your student’s i.d. number.

You’ll see there are several color icons for different functions of Charms. Currently, only the Finances section is active.

Once you click on Finances, you’ll see your student’s Financial Statement, showing a detail of amounts due/credited.

To make a payment on the amount currently due, simply click on the “Pay Fixed Payments” button directly above the breakdown of what is due. This will direct you to PayPal to make credit/debit card payments and will send an email to Band Boosters, alerting us of your payment. It will also provide you with a receipt to print and that’s it!
