Looking for a parent of a freshman, sophomore or junior to help with Senior Night Planning. This parent would work with our current parents (who have seniors) and the Senior Night team, to help plan and run the event at the October 16th football game. Interested? BOOSTER MEETING HIGHLIGHTS…
Our Student Booster Payment response rate is at 74%. Let’s make that 100%! Everyone’s Student Booster Payment is now due. If you need more information, want to check status, figure out how to pay, discuss payment plans or other options, email the Booster Treasurer, treasurer@smhsbandboosters.com
FanAngel Donation Drive in the works! The FanAngel Donation Drive is a big financial boost to the Band Boosters. These donations help keep our student booster payments low. This is a tax deduction donation through our 501(c)( 3) organization and 90% of the funds goes to our organization! How you can help? Prepare your potential donor lists now. We will need students (with their parents help) to enter potential donor info so we can launch quickly. More information soon.
Rehearsal times are changing to 5:30pm-8:30pm. Make sure you stay up to date with Ms. Morgan’s official Calendar.
SWAG shop coming soon. Opportunity for students and parents to buy Marching Matador SWAG. This is separate from the show shirts that will also be coming soon.

Next Booster Meeting
October 6 (Monday 6:00pm to 8:00pm – SMHS Band Room): All Booster (parents) are welcome (and encouraged) to attend our monthly Booster Board Meetings. This is our primary planning meeting where we discuss and coordinate Booster activities to support the Marching Band in the upcoming weeks.
FUNDRAISING:
As mentioned above the FanAngel big fall Donation Drive is in the works. We will need students and parents to get potential donator info in so we can launch. Look for more info as we get closer.
Dine out nights – We have a parent volunteer who will be scheduling Dine out Night’s. She is looking for dining suggestions. Have any places you like? Send a note to president@smhsbandboosters.com and she will pass it on.
