Hello Everyone!
“Bandtober” is in full swing. Marching Band will compete in their 2nd competition this weekend at Pinnacle High School. They will perform all three movements of “Beyond the Mirror’s Gaze” with some new props!! With the addition of new props, we will need more parent volunteers to help push props for the show.
Also, we have information for the SMHS Marching Matador Swag Shop (logo’d tshirts, hoodies, and “Beyond the Mirror’s Gaze” show shirts)

AZMBA Competition – Pinnacle Show
OCT 19 (Saturday) Pinnacle HS, Phoenix Band performs at 3:57pm
Please help us out by visiting our SignUpGenius link. We need volunteers to help with pushing Pit and Props for this event as well as helping with water/snacks. This is a great opportunity to get into the competition for free and to participate with your kids as they compete with other Division 2A bands from all around AZ.

SMHS Marching Matador online Swag Shop is open!
This shop has several items of apparel with the SMHS Marching Matador logo, some of which can be personalized for an upcharge. It also has both versions of the show shirt. All ordering is done through the Russell Sportswear website.
The online store will close EOB Monday, October 22nd. Apologies for the tight turnaround but this will allow the merchandise to be delivered to the students during practice on Thursday, October 31st, just in time for Senior Night, the Buckeye Show and AZMBA State Championships. If enough interest is generated the shop may be re-opened in November.
