- FanAngel Fundraiser Launch OCT 9 (open for students to create their profiles on OCT 2)
FanAngel Fundraiser
The Band Boosters are conducting two major fundraising activities this year
- FanAngel “Crowdfunding” campaign – Launch Date OCT 9
- Casino Night – Spring of 2024
Students will begin creating their FanAngel profiles starting Monday OCT 2. Please read the emails from the Boosters with instructions for you and your student to help us make this fundraiser a success!

Homecoming
OCT 6 (Friday): HOMECOMING vs Valley Lutheran: Band will be marching in the Homecoming Parade and performing their show “Metamorphosis” at halftime of the game. The Boosters will need volunteers to help distribute water to the band during the parade, and to help with all normal football game activities (pre and post game stand setup, concessions, helping with pushing pit instruments and props at halftime). We are also looking for parents to donate a case of water to the band for the Homecoming Parade which is always during the hottest part of the day. Simply drop off a case of water at the band room any day this week.

Pinnacle Competition
OCT 7 (Saturday): AZMBA Competition at Pinnacle High School: This is the first competition of the season for Shadow Mountain. This is a “Flipped” show schedule which means the smaller Division 1A bands (like Shadow Mountain) are scheduled to perform late in the day (the larger Division 4A and 3A start in the early afternoon). Boosters will have a SignUp Genius email and link for volunteers to help with pushing Pit and Props for this event. This is a great opportunity to get into the competition for free and to participate with your kids as they compete with 11 other Division 1A bands (including Pinnacle and North Canyon) from all around AZ
